Madison, WI – Tuesday evening brought some good fortune for one bear hunter, as the 2009 Governor’s Tag Black Bear Harvest Tag drawing was held. On hand were Scott Meyer and Rep. Ann Hraychuck, who held the honor of drawing the lucky winner.
The annual Governor’s Tag Raffle is held as a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bear Hunters’ Foundation, Inc., which uses the proceeds collected to help fund research and educational projects related to black bears.
This year’s winner is Eugene L’Allier of New Richmond! Congratulations to Eugene L’Allier and a big THANK YOU to those who participated. Good hunting.
